In China, Xiaomi's sales are falling, while Vivo and Huawei are growing
According to data, Huawei sold the most in 2011 - 105.8 million units. Compared to 2017, sales grew by 15 million copies. Considering the drop in the entire Chinese market, this is a sensational result. The second company that recorded the increase is Vivo, the sale has been improved by 6.2 million units. If the pace is maintained, in the coming quarters, Vivo should chase away Oppo which is in second place, but with a drop of 3.8 million. If you do not know Vivo and Oppo, both brands belong to the BBK Electronics group.
In 2018, Xiaomi sold 2x less smartphones in China than Huawei, only 50 million copies and recorded a decrease compared to 2017 by 2.7 million. In the last place in the big five is Apple which in 2018 managed to sell 34.2 million iPhones. The largest decrease was recorded by companies that were not in the top five - the decline amounted to 62 million.
