After the break, the Clean Air program returns. From January 21, you will be able to submit applications for additional payment

In September 2018 the Clean Air program was launched. But after the new year, the applications of potential beneficiaries were stopped. You had to adjust the rules. Already on Monday, everything will be back to normal and you will be able to apply for funding again.

The Clean Air Program is a government response to smog and energy poverty. It has been known for a long time that air pollution in our country is primarily caused by poor household stoves and even worse combustible material. Poles do not burn in this way for selfish reasons. The main reason is the lack of money to buy (or replace) the boiler and better fuel quality.

The Clean Air program, offering funding for replacing the old heat source, will answer the problem. Co-financing includes the purchase of a new furnace and its assembly or insulation of building partitions. You can also apply for money for the replacement of windows and doors, installation or modernization of central heating and hot water installations or renewable energy installations.

The tax stops the subsidy program.

Already at the beginning of the Clean Air Program, the Ministry of the Environment stipulated that the voivodship funds for environmental protection and water management would not be in a hurry with the payment of the proposed funds. Already then it was probably clear that the program would have to be suspended . Reason? Error in the original version by which the beneficiaries would have to pay tax for the financial assistance received.

Indeed, since January 1, the websites of institutions implementing the Clean Air had a message "stopping from 1 January 2019 the call for funding under the Clean air priority program." Then nobody could say how long this break will last. Today we know that it will pass in a moment.

The Clean Air program has been restarted since Monday.

It turns out that it took almost three weeks to introduce relevant changes.

Recent IT tests are under way. From the nearest Monday, I encourage all citizens to submit applications. Our common goal is to improve air quality in Poland. We operate with the future generations in mind - said Henryk Kowalczyk, the Minister of the Environment this week.

Most applications in Silesia and Mazovia.

In January, the first contracts will be signed based on applications sent earlier. And there were quite a lot of them. By the end of the year, there are over 25,000 in the entire country. For now, only 100 contracts have been signed on this basis, for co-financing in the total amount of PLN 1 million.

By far the largest number of applications under the Clean Air Program have so far been submitted to Silesia - over 3.5 thousand. Małopolska is in second place - over 2.3 thousand. Such data can not be surprising. It was these two provinces that initiated the adoption of anti-smog resolutions by voivodship self-governments.

After the break, the Clean Air program returns. From January 21, you will be able to submit applications for additional payment
