This does not mean that there are no visible novelties at all.

Apple on iOS 12.1.1 withdrew from changing the interface of the FaceTime application. Again during the conversation, you can change the camera from which the picture is sent to the interlocutor by one touch of the screen. The microphone button is also attached to the top. In addition, it can be easily captured during Live Photo calls, provided that the other person also has a new version of the system.

In addition, there was support for real-time text (RTT) technology during conversations conducted using Wi-Fi Calling. Apple in the description of the update also mentioned new operators using eSIM , but so far there is no mention of the Orange branch in Poland, which promised support until the end of this year .

Apple also probably changed something about the layout of buttons on the on-screen keyboard in the iPad.

Apple in recent months, however, has exchanged icons in places so many times that I began to get lost in it. Now in both older applications and those adapted to the iPad Pro 11, in the bottom row from the left the first language changes and activates emoticons, and the second switches letters to numbers and special characters.

Unfortunately, the new version of iOS does not improve the problem of displaying applications that have not been adapted to the screen of the iPad Pro 11. Still programs that have not been updated, such as Facebook or HBO GO, do not fully use the screen surface of the new tablet Apple.

The owners of the iPhone XR have reasons for satisfaction. From now on, as part of the Haptic Touch function, which simulates 3D Touch, you will be able to develop the notification content by holding the screen for a longer time. Still, this feature is not able to fully replace the lack of pressure-sensitive screen in this smartphone model.

It remains open to this question, what about the new version of watchOS .

iOS 12.1.1 introduces data support from the electrocardiograph built into the 4th generation Apple Watche. The next version of Apple's watch software still did not come out of the beta phase.

Although iOS 12.1.1 is now ready to support the Apple Watch electrocardiograph, so far users need to be patient ... even though this feature is blocked outside of the United States.

tvOS 12.1.1 and macOS Mojave 10.14.2 - what's new?
